    What are the system requirements for eMailACheck?  
    You need to have Microsoft® Windows XP or a newer version of the operating system. Acrobat Reader 7.0 must be installed and .Net Framework should also be installed (Generally Microsoft® XP Operating System and newer versions have .Net Framework pre-installed.) Also you should have an Internet connection available on the same computer where the eMailACheck software is installed.  
       
    How much does this service cost?  
    eMailACheck charges the Sender (Payor) considerably less than what it would cost to send and process a pre-printed traditional check by saving on postage, handling and administrative costs. There are no minimum use requirements or fixed monthly charges. Checks are issued through a license and issued in batches.

The service is FREE for Receiver (Payee).

    Any person that sends or receives checks: small or large companies or households; employers, employees, vendors. Essentially anyone who has an email address and a bank account can write checks and receive checks.

    Do you process checks or check related financial transactions?  
    No, we do not process checks. eMailACheck simply implements a new mechanism to send and receive checks. We do not handle any financial or transactional processing related to checks.

    What type of payments can I make with eMailACheck?  
    Users can send checks online for their rent, electric, or any/other payment to anyone that has an email account and access to a computer or smartphone. Business users can send checks to their contractors, vendors, employees and any service provider.  
       
    How can I be sure that an email check is not printed multiple times?  
    The software used to print check at the client machine ensures that once a check is printed, it cannot be printed again.  
       
    How can I send high volumes of checks?  
    You can send as many checks as you want. Using eMailACheck you can create and send hundreds of checks in a matter of minutes.  
     
    How do I know that a check was received?  
    Once a check is sent, you can utilize the system's report features to verify that the email was sent. If you want to know if the payee received the check, you can check with your bank to see if the item cleared your account. eMailAcheck will also send an email to the payor indicating that the payee forwarded the check for deposit.  
       
    How do I receive a check from eMailACheck?  
    When you receive an email from eMailACheck, you click on the link, and sign into your account. Then you log on with your user ID and password (first time users need to register) and navigate to the Receive a check link. Once you upload the check you can print a copy of it on your regular printer. You may then export the payment to your accounting software. To receive credit in your bank account, you need to forward the check to your bank for deposit.  
       
    Do I need special ink or toner to print a check?  
    No, banks will accept eMailACheck by using a barcode reader that will read the barcode on the check or the MICR line (most readers do not require special ink). The barcode encompasses all the information about the check.  
       
    Do I need a blank pre-printed check or special paper to print my check?  
    No not if you are going to do a direct deposit.  
       
    Do I need special printer to print the check?  
    No. eMailACheck can be printed on a regular printer with special ink.  
       
    Is my encrypted information secure?  
    We use the latest encrypted technology to secure the data on our servers. We do not share, sell, or allow access to our data. All user information is private and guaranteed secured and encrypted at all times. Our company is bonded and insured.  
     
    Why do I need to give my checking account information?  
    eMailACheck requires information from your existing checking account in order to write a check. All the relevant information is printed on a regular check from your bank account, including bank code line; check number, your name, and your bank's name. This is the same information that is required when you order traditional paper checks. Please have a check readily available. All information is kept strictly confidential. eMailACheck is bonded and insured.  
       
    Is my information insured? Guaranteed?  
    Yes, eMailACheck is bonded and insured. Your funds at your bank are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation up to the legal limits. Your funds held by your bank continue to enjoy the safety and security afforded by the FDIC insurance. eMailACheck only sets up your license to write checks and does not have any user control over your accounts of checks. Only you can write a check and make a payment.  
       
    What about the signature on the check?  
    eMailACheck requires you to scan and upload a scanned image of your signature or to create a signature . The signature is inserted on the signature line of the check.  
       
    How can I use my scanned signature?  
    eMailACheck software will require your signature to be downloaded into your system  
     
    How does eMailACheck help prevent fraud?  
    Every eMailACheck has a digitally signed barcode that has the payor's signature and pertinent information, which cannot be modified. Each check and its accompanying barcode are unique. The payee, payor, check amount and account information is shadowed throughout the check, making it almost impossible to alter.  
       
    Does eMailACheck work with accounting software?  
    Yes, users can download their transaction data to almost all accounting software systems compatible with excel. Duplicate data entry is not required.  
       
    What if I send a check and it is never cashed?  
    Your bank will treat a check just like all other checks. Your funds will remain in your bank account until the check is cashed. You can stop payment on checks the same way you currently do it. All aspects of your account remain the same.  
       
    What does the eMailACheck payee software do?  
    The payee software allows you to receive your check directly from the sender (payor) into your email account. The software is used to decrypt the secured check. It also helps you print, deposit and easily integrate data with your accounting software.
